I don’t usually say much about politics (and I don’t intend to say much now either), but I have to speak up at least once. I’m voting for Chuck Baldwin! Who will join me?
Many Christians are opposed to Obama, but are they really aware of what McCain stands for? I just can’t vote for him. For instance, he’s wavering on his stance on abortion (and never mind that Republicans have been in office for quite some time, yet millions of abortions continue to be performed in our country each year).
Many Christians say that we must vote for McCain, because to vote for a third-party candidate means that we’re throwing our vote away and allowing Obama to get in. Think about this, ladies. If every person that disapproved of McCain really did vote for a third-party candidate, that man might have a chance!
It doesn’t matter. In the end, who becomes our next ruler is in the hands of God. Of course it bothers me what could happen if Obama becomes the next president. However, I take my conscience to bed with me each night. I can’t vote for McCain with a clear conscience. (I’m not a fan of Palin either; if I were, I’d be going against everything I really believe on women’s issues, as sweet as I’m sure she is.)
We’ve got a few days until the election. Take a few moments to check out Chuck Baldwin at http://baldwin08.com. Read his views and see why I like him so much. Then do your part and forward what you learn to everyone you know.
Let’s vote our conscience, not the lesser of two evils!
Hugs,
P.S. We now return to our regular blog topics….

I am sorry that you feel that you cannot vote for Obama. I hope you change your mind, though.
