Good morning, everyone! I can’t stay online too long today… got a busy (but fun!) day ahead of me. But I’ve been enjoying a fabulous e-book by Stephanie Langford called Healthy Homemaking: One Step at a Time. She describes this book as “a 52-week journey of baby steps to help you move towards more natural, nutritious, and sustainable living.” It’s really a gem, but it has me thinking.
Changes, whether large or small, are always difficult, aren’t they? When I know God is moving on my heart to have me change something, I seem to first fight it tooth-and-nail, then I start to ignore it, then He pounds me a few times to make me listen, then I start to change, then I give up a few times, then eventually, the changes start to become more permanent.
What changes are you working on right now? What baby steps are you taking in your life to grow? This could be in any category… spiritual growth, health and nutrition, character issues, a new skill….
For me, I’m working on getting BACK in the habit of making my own homemade yogurt, I’m trying to get back in the habit of practicing the piano every day, and I want to get back to reading larger hunks of Scripture each morning, not just small tidbits.
What are you working on?
