Are You Going to Finish Strong?

As inspiring as this is, I need to remember that there will always come a day for me that I cannot keep going, that I cannot get up on my own. First, I need to get so low that only God Himself can rescue me. When I realize what a sinner I am, that I will continue to sin and fall down even when I know better, then I am ready to ask for help from my savior and friend, Jesus Christ.

Secondly, I need to remember that Jesus wants to live inside me, to empower me for living. Sometimes we see a man like the one on this video and we think that we could never live with that much strength or courage. You’re right, we can’t! But when Jesus empties us of ourselves and fills us up with His power instead, we will have the power we need for living.
