A few days ago, I posted an article about headcovering on my Facebook wall. A reader had comment that caught my eye: “Where is headcovering in the Torah? Is Paul adding to scripture in this case?” That’s an excellent question, especially since YHVH commands us, “Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not […]
“Anne, does Deuteronomy 22:5 mean that women should not wear pants? I mentioned this to a few friends, and they say that no, it just means we shouldn’t look like a man. My pastor’s wife is a very, very sweet woman that I look up to, and she says the same. However, the more I […]
The next question in my Juggling Life’s Responsibilities study guide is regarding these controversial verses from 1 Timothy 2.

As I originally wrote here on my blog, I did it because I was reading 1 Corinthians 11:1-16 and just couldn’t see any way around it. I don’t usually like to stir up too much controversy here on my blog, but […]
Well, I was just reading a post in one of the blogs I regularly read, and I saw that she had written on the topic of head coverings. I started wearing a head covering during worship last fall, so I thought I’d reply to her post, even though — poor thing! — she didn’t ask […]
