Hi! My name is Anne. I’ve been married since 1993, and we have seven kids — ages 14, 10, 9, 7, 5, 2, and baby. We live in beautiful Minnesota, and here are some things we’re passionate about in our house:

FOOD… coffee, rich cheesecakes, homemade breads, fresh herbs and teas, and farm-fresh milk products. Yum! I’m hungry…
MOVIES… when the kids are tucked in bed, we love to snuggle in for a nice movie. For a movie to make our Top 10 list, it has to make us laugh, make us cry, and make us think — preferably all three!
BOOKS… we’re a bunch of book-worms here. We grownups prefer non-fiction, stuff that makes us debate or dream big dreams. The kids adore stories, classic children’s literature, suspenseful tear-jerkers, and anything funny.
MUSIC… we’re in our 30s but we love old classics, romantic jazz, quiet praise and worship, and sometimes loud praise and worship. Just like our movies, if it makes us laugh, cry, or think, we love it!
THEOLOGY… see, you knew we were weird! We just love talking about everything spiritual that makes us tick. This is a guaranteed way to make us stay up too late.

We homeschool our kids, and my husband is a pastor of a Baptist church. We’re passionate about lots of things, especially having fun together. We want to get to the ends of our lives and know that our lives made a difference for God’s kingdom. And that’s why my brain is always going in the shower…
