FOR TODAY, MONDAY, MARCH 30, 2009…
Outside my window… I’m sitting at the library with my laptop, next to beautiful picture windows that overlook a lake. Ahhhh….
I am thinking… about plans for the next few months. My husband and I are having a “planning date” this afternoon. I’ve been making a list of everything I need to do and fitting it into a time schedule.
I am thankful for… a sweet sister-in-law who is staying with our kids today so we can sneak away.
From the learning rooms… I need to get ready to place my Abeka order for next fall. Abeka offers free shipping for the month of April!
From the kitchen… I checked out the book, Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day, from the library, and I’m looking forward to trying it out.
I am wearing… soft jeans, my favorite pair, and a blue sweater that was given to me. It’s so soft, and it’s just the right color.
I am creating… new pages in my daily planner. I usually do this job in late December, but with our move this year, I just hadn’t done it yet for 2009. No wonder I was feeling disorganized!
I am going… nowhere special this week, after today. I’m looking forward to a week spent primarily at home!
I am reading… The Schwarzbein Principle II: The Transition, Beyond Antibiotics, Organizing for the Creative Person, and the book of Colossians (same books as last week)
I am hoping… to get to bed on time each night this week.
I am hearing… an Hispanic man talk on his cell phone a few tables away from me.
Around the house… I need to wipe down inside the upper cabinets of my kitchen this week, cleaning out any “leaven.” (Passover is next week!)
One of my favorite things… Days like today with my husband, my very best friend.
A few plans for the rest of the week… Quiet, peaceful, planning, writing, enjoying my children and home.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing…
