Good morning! It’s been such a busy week at our house, and I find that I’m having to apply a lot of the principles I’ve been learning as I’m writing the new “moms and stress” book (due out in a few months, God willing).
One of the best stress relievers I’ve found is music, but I’ve always been puzzled about why some music works well to calm me down and other types just make me feel frazzled. I wondered if it was because sometimes I’m alone when I listen but at other times, I might have company or a lot of other things going on.
I discovered a new blog this week, “Our Musical Home.” I love it already! This mom is a believer, and she’s a true expert on music. I signed up for her free mini-course, and the first lesson was on music and stress. How timely! I highly recommend it.
Well, I better get offline. Much to do before I enjoy a day of rest….
