When I Make Mistakes

Lord, I’m so glad You’re gracious with me, even when I make mistakes.  Cuz I made a big one today.

Then I let it ruin my day.  But You’re so kind.  You didn’t nag me or tell me how awful I am.  You didn’t point out all the ways that I really should be more responsible.

You simply brought a verse to mind, over and over and over again.

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us…” (Gal. 3:13).

Thank you, Lord!  You even redeem me from the curses I bring upon myself when I know to do right but don’t do it.

Someday I’ll look back and understand why today happened.  But until then, it’s so nice to know you still love me.
